Dragon God

Art & Culture

I am having a solo Ink painting (Sumie) exhibition at Kyushu Japanese Restaurant. Sumie isn’t well known in Sydney, therefore I would like to introduce this art work to Australian people. The exhibition theme is “Dragon God”. The world is suffering through war, pandemic and climate change chaos recently. I’ve drawn five “Dragon God” ink paintings with wishes and prayers for the world. Japanese people believe that every person has their own dragon god as a guardian. There are many temples and shrines to connect with dragon gods in Japan. Sumie is strongly connected with Zen philosophy & mindfulness. I hope Australian people can find peace in these art works.

A part of art sales goes as a donation to NPO, which is supporting people affected by anxiety, depression and suicide
